What is the INE Electoral Complement?

Since May 1, 2016, this complement is used by all taxpayers who sell, transfer, lease, or provide goods or services for consideration to Political Parties and Civil Associations (in the case of aspiring and independent candidates), which must be incorporated into the CFDI that they issue in favor of such parties and associations during pre-campaign and campaign processes.

It applies when acquiring or contracting propaganda, including promotional materials and advertising, as well as shows, singers and musical groups, goods and services contracted for pre-campaign and campaign events regardless of amount, in accordance with Article 46 of the Oversight Regulations of the National Electoral Institute (INE).
